The ABC Fund was founded in 1991. It's purpose was to encourage children to raise funds to bring a smile to other children by providing them with treats.
Starting in a small way we bought pantomime tickets, Christmas food hampers which we still do to this day only on a much bigger scale.
We also bought in vouchers, provided equipment for holiday play schemes, 1500 colouring books and crayons for the hospital as well as trauma teddies for the ambulance service.
As our funds grew, so did our activities. We bought in more pantomime seats, increased the number of food hampers and enjoyed many more days out.
